Who we Are
Himalayan Trout brand is owned by Doable Ventures Private Limited, founded by Mr. Govind Janoti and his wife Sunita Janoti in 2021. The startup is involved in farming, processing, marketing and supporting hundreds of trout farmers from Kashmir, Himachal Pardesh and Uttarakhand.
About Us
Our company owned farm is located in Village Katad, District Champawat but we also have exclusive tie up with 10+ farms in Himachal Pradesh (namely Barot and Joginder Nagar) and Uttarakhand (namely Bageshwar, Tehri and Rudraprayag)
Great Taste
Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is a game fish of the family “Salmonidae” noted for its spectacular leaps and hard fighting when hooked. It has been introduced from Western North America to many other countries. A brightly colored fish of lakes and swift streams, it is covered with small black spots and has a reddish band along either side.
Trout Characteristic
They can grow up to 45 inches long and weigh up to 25 kg. They are found in Cold Fresh water tributaries of the Himalayas as well as lakes and swift streams.
Rainbow trout are a popular Global Fish known for their Mild, Delicate flavour and Nutrient Rich profile. They are a good source of Healthy Protein, B-12, Vitamin D, as well as rich Omega 3 fatty acids.
